The 8th Patrician Brothers' Memorial Inter School Debate Competition 🎤 was organised by St. Mary's Academy on 5th August 2023 , wherein
St. John's Sr. Sec. School,
Meerut Cantt. emerged victorious , defeating all contestants from the other schools, thereby bagging the Winner's Trophy!
It was truly a moment of 'the best competing with the best' as students of all the reputed schools of the city had gathered under one roof. The Debate Competition observed a diverse exchange of opinions on the topic "Seeking Validation on Social Media has been a main goal of a teenager's life."
The participants of
St. John's Senior Secondary School ,
named Dhwani Sharma ( speaking for the motion )
and Ayush Yadav (speaking against the motion) emerged hands-down Winners ,displaying outstanding oratory skills.
The speakers were well-trained under the able mentorship of Ma'am Ankita, Ma'am Reeha and Ma'am Vrinda.
Dhwani Sharma came out as a top-notch Speaker thereby bagging the Best Speaker Award and the School's Trophy.
The competition provided a literary platform for the participants to showcase their oratory skills. The ceremony concluded on a great note with motivational talks and views shared by all the dignitaries present over there.
